Grammar: different kinds of sentences, simple and compound subjects and predicate, simple and compound sentences.
Phonics: short and long vowels, verbs- present and past, plurals and compund words
Writing: Finding evidences to support opinions
Second Quarter
Focus Skill: Fact and opinion, Cause and effect, Main Idea
Focus Strategy: visualization, Questioning, drawing conclusion and making inferences
Writing- We will be working on a narrative piece of writing.
